Viral marketing idea: ask each of your board members to start a viral fundraising campaign by setting up a personal solicitation page on your website and then directing their friends to go there to make a donation. They can send an email announcement and a link to the page to everyone on their personal mailing list.
Marketing Newsflash: Nielsen conducted a direct mail study and found out that charities had the highest rate of unopened mail — 76%!
